I am trying to use the software that came with an external hard drive and can not launch it, i keep getting a launch error. If i open compmgmt.msc or taskschd.msc and either double click a task or right click one and select properties, i get an error:

I used dotnetfx cleanup tool to remove all.net framework installations and let the system update and install the latest, new one but the event viewer, task.

It attempts to unload it and continue running.
